Today is my husband's birthday!! His only wish was for a remote control car. (Yes, he's 31 . . . but he'll always be a little boy!!) So, I was so happy to give him his car this morning.
Here it is . . . stripped down
and also all put together. I can't wait until Monday when he can go out and play with it!!
Too old for a remote control car??? Never!
I just want to take this opportunity to gush about my Sweetpea. I waited a long time to find him, and don't know how I got so very lucky. He is the kindest, most generous, most caring man in the world. He takes care of me when I'm sick . . . and even when I'm not. If he only had $3, he'd give me two!!! He understands my wacky sense of humor and shares my off-beat sense of adventure. We can make a party out of the smallest event - and often do.
Happy Birthday, Sweetpea. I'd be lost without you.

Awww...you sound like me talking about my DH (yes, it stands for dear husband - but I'm sure many people use dork head interchangeably, too, since it fits so nicely). My hubby just turned 36 and still loves to get toys for his birthday. Or electronics. I never have a hard time shopping - I can just get him another Playstation game that he'll never have time to play! The fact that I keep giving him games gives him hope that someday he might get to...
