WIP Wednesday - WTF

Today's post is a blatant rip off of the "WTF Wednesday" posts Heide often does.

WTF WIP:  Remember those worsted weight socks I started way back in November on my trip to Louisiana?  They still are not done.  WTF is wrong with a knitter who takes more than three months to knit worsted socks??  I called them "Le Petit Sockon Rouge" since I knit the first one on my trip to Louisiana.  I worked on the second one on my trip to San Diego.  So maybe they need to be "Le Petit Sockon Rouge/Red Hot Chili Sock".  *sigh*

WTF Pictures:  While were are at it, WTF is up with the pictures on my blog?  Every other knit-blogger posts quality photos of their knitting artfully arranged.  My blog has shadow-filled pictures of knitting sloppily thrown on a crumpled mass of wrinkles.  More often than not, the colors you see are not the true colors of the yarn.  Have you all taken a Photography for Bloggers course I don't know about?

WTF Blanket:  To end this WTF post on a high note, I must share the funniest video I've ever seen on You Tube.  The voice-over is not exactly family-friendly, so don't watch it with the kids!!

That is so funny! I think I may have to "borrow" it from you and post a link on my Facebook (which btw, I still think you need to join!).
I also wonder how people know how to take all those perfect photos! I feel like I spend hours just getting stuff that is half-way presentable. For every photo that I post, I must take like a million. No wonder my computer is so slow because I can get myself to delete any of them!

you are so funny!

Clearly you are forgetting about the photos I post on my blog. They are pretty bad, and I make myself not care. :)

Very funny video!
And if you hear about a photography for bloggers course, let us know, that would be great!

Howlingly funny! Can you believe these things are selling like crazy!?

Hahaha!! Have you ever thought of using flickr or photobucket to host your pictures instead of uploading to blogger. You can tweak them more. I had a pair OTN over a year LOL!

Great video! I hate too small blankets. I might have to get one...the arms will make it easier to knit, right?

I'm with you on the photography for bloggers. I learned a few things from the husband, but gray dark days still ruin my FO photos.

Due to a sick kidlet I couldn't do a WTF Wednesday so I'm glad you did. THis is hilarious! THe only thing funnier would have been a WTF Snuggie made out of a ShamWow!

*L* your just too funny!
I so don't get the snuggie, its a bathrobe backwards! It does however remind me of a blanket wrap thing that my mom had when I was little.

That is hysterical! Your trip to San Diego looks appropriately warm and relaxing.

That blanket is so cheap and cheesy. My step-dad's mom gave him one for Christmas, a couple of weeks ago. One. They sell them in sets of two--buy one RIGHT NOW and we'll send you the second one FREE!--he asked her what she did with the second one and she didn't tell him. The woman is CHEAP!

It's not just you - my pics are AWFUL!!! I need a course badly as every other Australian blogger is apparently a genius with a camera (see Dyelicious Yarns for an example)...

I'm so glad I discovered another funny knitting blog! I recently started a blog http://cheerfulknitter.blogspot.com(I am also a mostly self-taught knitter) but I haven't posted photos yet. Thanks for the hilarious video! I'm looking forward to following your blog--good luck!
