Making that list of projects I wanted to finish in April seemed to work out really well for me. No, I didn't finish everything on the list (I didn't expect to either), but I did get more done than I thought I would. Here's how the month ended up.Finish and block Kiri Shawl in time to wear to a wedding on April 15th. - Done!!Finish second Monkey sock. - Done!!Finish a pair of Fetchings as March Holiday Headstart project. - Done!!Find and knit something for April Holiday Headstart project. - Done!! I knit an Elefante. Look for the FO post soon.work on) Red Koigu Socks. - One is finished, and the second was cast on last night.Swatch and start Tahoe when yarn arrives. - The swatch is done and drying. Maybe I can cast on today.
It seems that these monthly lists will help keep me focused and motivated. The April list certainly kept me from casting on a million new projects and not making progress on any of them! So, here are my May goals:

I'm trying to do Holiday Headstart too. All I've gotten done is a Meathead. SLACKER!
Good for you! That's got to be a great sense of accomplishment. :)

I love reading your little lists! Makes me want to make one, but I'm too scared. :)
I love lists, they help me so much, my hubby makes fun becasue I write down my lists & carry them with me all the time
Great idea! I must come up with a list for the month of May!
Looks like you got a lot accomplished this month. Maybe I should start making lists instead of casting on for new projects!
You accomplished a lot in April! I make lots of lists but I find them much to easy to ignore.
Good job! And thanks for the link to Elefante - possibly the cutest thing ever!
I have to applaud you for your goal setting. Whenever I try to do that it stresses me out. Knitting should not be stressful.
How fun to already go to the Wool festival! The Estes Park, CO one is in May, it will be here sooner than we think!
Glad you had fun!!
Miss talking to you!
Looks like you had fun at the festival! gotta love those sheep!
I adore your lists, I think I might have to try one, maybe at least on paper this month. I'll see how it goes and in june there might be one on my blog.... thanks!
Pretty good job on your list there! Sigh..I think I need to do that! :)
Good for you!
Setting monthly goals obviously works so maybe I should start my list right now! Thanks for the inspiration.
That is such a good idea. I'm going to do the same.
Wow! You did such a good job on your list :) I should start something like that. I'm lucky I was able to finish the two pair of socks and afghan I finished too. :). I've not done a toe up sock yet, so I guess it's time now to pick a pattern that is, so I can learn how lol. It has sort of scared me, some I've seen with provisional cast ons I've not done that yet either. :D
Man I am so failing with that while Holiday Headstart thing!! I havent done a THING with it!! I really must get started now or be swamped for Chrissie! And since there is more members in my knitting group I dont want to be swamped!!!! MUST START NOW...Sigh...Next week ;-)
I wonder if a list thing per month would be good for me? I wonder if it will work? Might have to give it a go..
