WIP of the Week - Kiri

Bound off . . .

In the bath . . .(ETA: Okay, I just realized that picture makes it look like I was soaking my shawl in the toilet bowl. I assure you, it was in my sink. I just did a bad cropping job - I clearly should have left more of the counter visible!!)

Blocking!

I love it and I now understand the magic of lace!! FO pictures to be taken tomorrow when it debuts at a wedding.

I was just thinking, "That looks a little like a shawl soaking in a toilet," when I read your assurance that it was not. Whew!

It's beautiful! Love the color too.

Okay don't laugh, but before the photos loaded, your post read:
"Bound off... In the bath". I thought you had photos of you binding something off in the bath. Mwah ha ha ha!!

You know it's going to be gorgeous when it looks stunning just in it's blocking photos! I can't WAIT to see modeled photos. You finished that just in time huh?

I have zero interest in lace, but your shawl is amazing and makes me want to give it a whirl...and that is SO your toilet bowl! ;) (just kidding!)

I'll bet you outshone the bride today in your lovely Kiri! I'd not noticed that the sink resembled a loo until you pointed it out. Too funny! I can't wait to see pictures of you wearing it.
