MONKEY See, MONKEY Do

That's right. Everyone in blogland is knitting them, so I just had to knit them too.

Monkey
Cast On: 25 March 2007
Completed: 20 April 2007
Yarn: Mama-E's C*Eye*Ber Fiber Sock, Mermaids
Needles: Knit Picks DPNs US2 (3.0 mm)

I'll tell you, this pattern doesn't MONKEY around. It was very straightforward and easy to follow. Knitting these was more fun than a barrel of MONKEYS. Well, I'll be a MONKEY'S uncle, but these also count as my SAM3 April socks!!! Will I make it to the bottom of my April To-Knit List? Sure I will . . . . and MONKEYS might fly out my butt too.

Those came out so awesome. I am going to try them (again) soon....I have yarn to use and everything.....my first try with the twisted ribbing was a little frusterating but I will try again particularly after seeing them all done up.

Beautiful! I've wanted to knit these too. Will I anytime soon? Only if I join you with the monkeys flying out of, well, you know... ;-)

Very cute! I've been sitting here trying to think of a good Monkey pun/joke, but I can't come up with one. Sorry! :-D

You're such a clever little monkey!

They look fabulous and you chose a great colorway to show of the pattern. NICE JOB my dear (as always)!

Awesome socks! Monkeys are on my list. I feel like I'm so behind on the trends...no Pomatomi, Clapotis or Jaywalkers. Yikes.

Beautiful monkeys! The yarn and pattern go together very well. If monkeys do fly out of your butt, please let us know!

You are hilarious! I love my monkeys also. They are a little more loose than I normally like, but I really didn't mind.

Heh heh...love those monkeys! You know, if they actually do start flying out your butt...you may have a problem. Heh heh. You are too funny, just what I needed today. Something humorous to lighten the mood...ack.

Beautiful! I so want to knit these but I was a little afraid of the pattern - hearing how straightfoward you think it was definately helps to convince me!
