CT Sheep, Wool and Fiber

Thank you all for your good wishes for sunny weather on Saturday - they worked like a charm! The sun broke through just as we headed out to Vernon for the Fiber Fest.

Right this way . . . Alien sheep?? Nope, bad photographer!Fluffy Bunnies . . . and a little guy who needed a sweater.Someone to keep these sheep in line . . . but Pea didn't have a chance of keeping me and Elizabeth in line with sock yarn around . . .this is the look he got when he tried!!

I visited with some old friends and met some new ones. I managed to pick up a few skeins of yarn, and a few more at a yarn store we passed on the way home. ** cough cough Colinette Jitterbug cough cough Malabrigo cough** Look for those in future Yarn P*rn posts!!

Is the Yarn Barn the one down near New Haven?

Oh thanks for all the pictures. Maybe I can get my husband to go along to a Sheep and Wool Fest this year in nearby Wisc. He loves to see Border collies at work. Thanks for the herding image.....
it may be just the bait!

For all that Pea has learned about knitters, he clearly doesn't yet understand knitters and sock yarn! Such cute sheep and bunnies.

SO FUN! I'm glad the weather was good and you look great in your shawl. It's so beautiful on you! I *love* the look you gave Pea. It looks just like one I use on my guy too sometimes.

How fun! I bought the Jitterbug in Blue Parrot, I'm saving that to make socks for myself, lol. I've never heard of Malabrigo, I guess I'll have to check it out ;)

What a great time it seems you've had at the Fiber Fest - oh, I'd really love to visit something like that one day too! We hardly have these kinds of events over here unfortunately though ;( And mind you, I so can't wait to see some goodie yarn pr0n!
