The Tree

Christmas Tree 2005Oh, gee, did I promise to post this two days ago???? I should know better than to give myself a time line during the holidays. So, a bit late, here is my tree, complete with some wrapped presents!! Every year I get the tree home and it is SO MUCH BIGGER than it looked on the wide open tree lot. So this year, I was very careful - and ended up with a tree much smaller than I intended. One of these years I'll get it right.

I do have knitting content to post, but I'll have to save that for "later". I won't promise when later, but I'll try to make it soon.

What a lovely tree! And the presents underneath are beautiful too. I always forget to get more than one wrapping paper, so we end up with a very boring under-tree area.

Your tree looks so pretty, Karen! I know you said it's smaller than you intended, but I think it looks wonderful. And I know I've said it before, but you have such a beautiful home! I love all the festive decorations and miniatures you have all around the room. You're so on the ball, too, with all your wrapped presents already waiting under the tree. I actually wrapped a few of the kids' gifts and put them out....except, Stinky, having seen Bossy open his birthday presents recently, decided to try and open all of them herself while I was washing the dishes. :-P So it looks like Santa will be delivering ALL of the family's presents on Christmas Eve after bedtime! :-)

I have that problem a lot too. DF has resorted to making me promise that when we do finally get around to getting a tree (like when we have a house) it can't be taller than me.

Darn, why can't I be amazon-tall like Stephanie Japel?
