Harlot Day Yarn P*rn - luxury edition

I think it's about time we wrapped up the Harlot Day Yarn posts, don't you? After all, it's been two months since the big day! So last, but certainly not least, I present my final purchase from WEBS.

malabrigo lace

Two skeins of Malabrigo Laceweight in the Burgundy colorway. (Yes, there has been a lot of Malabrigo on this blog lately, hasn't there??) This was the only yarn I bought that day that wasn't on sale. But if you are going to pay full price for yarn, I'd say this is the yarn to choose. Worth every penny!

I'm thinking it will become Icarus, but I may change my mind about 100 times before I cast on!

OOooo isn't Malabrigo so mmmmm. I just got some of their lace weight in evergreen. I am going to make the bee fields shawl from knitspot. What could be nice then to wrap oneself in Malabrigo. =)

I can't wait to see what you make with yours! Thank you again for my skein as a prize; I think it might become a lace scarf but I want to pick the perfect pattern.

Even at full price Malabrigo lace is a great deal. I'm just finishing a shawl I knit with it and yummmmmmy. I definitely like that Burgandy colorway. You did great with the yarn choices on your Harlot Day at WEBS.

Have a great weekend.

Oooh, LOVE the Malabrigo. Malabrigo laceweight caused me a few issues at Stitches East this past year and by a few I mean I came home with something like eight skeins. BTW, my brother ended up having mercy and handing over his two skeins of sock yarn to me and Mom. I think it helped that Mom promised to knit him another pair of socks. :)

I made my Icarus in Malabrigo lace weight, too! It's a good yarn for the shawl.

That Malabrigo is dangerous stuff in any form. I don't even knit lace and I have three skeins of their laceweight!
