Covert Operations

Thursday night, Pea went out after work for a Happy Hour / Good Bye party for two co-workers. Since I had the evening to myself, I hunkered down with my favorite spy for some top secret knitting.

Click to make bigger . . . you'll be glad you did!!

Now, I have to admit, I've always kind of liked watching James Bond movies with Pea, but was never likely to put one on when I'm alone. But that has all changed now, thank you, Mr. Craig!! *drool* I'm surprised I didn't drop my stitches when he put on the tuxedo. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

AHEM, where was I?? Oh yes, 007 and I are sorry to say we must keep our little knitting adventure under wraps until Christmas, as the recipient may very well be staking out the blog. Those of you with special security clearance (not a family member or non-blog pal) can access our operation here or here. Remember, this is for your eyes only. Don't leak the secret, or we may have to eliminate you!

Is it really sad that I was hoping that when I clicked to make it bigger, I would be able to see the yarn under the box??? I am such a yarn whore (ahem, I mean addict)! Of course, I can't deny that I appreciated those nifty links you kindly provided;)

I've never been a big James Bond fan but maybe now I should be!

This is the first James Bond movie that I really liked too. I think it was because it was before the character became Mr. Super Smooth. And well, yeah, Daniel Craig is pretty cute.

What a fun way to tackle some knitting. There is definitely something about "movie faves" that makes the knitting go faster & easier. :)

You know I always thought Sean Connery was the sexiest Bond, but now I'm not so sure. Oy was he ever HOT in that movie. Le sigh. You've got great taste Kar!

SWOONING here!!!! Love Daniel Craig - I am with Amanda - always thought Sean C. was the best bond, but now....hmmmm. Yep, Mr. Craig is it!

Sigh - I do love me some Daniel Craig. I watched Casino Royale with my boyfriend, and he actually turned to me at one point and said "Is it just me, or is he [Bond] like amazingly hot for a guy?" I did my level best to grunt noncommitally. :)

The socks came out great! I'm not a big fan of the yarn either, but I must say it wears like iron in the couple of pairs I made from it.

Love that movie! Though, Sean Connery does hold a special place in my heart (as RR is well aware...) ;o)

I was a die-hard Pierce Brosnan 007 fan until I saw this 007 movie and now I'm anxiously awaiting the next one. When I was in Oregon, I picked up this movie for $8.00! Lucky me!
I love your secret project by the way.
