I don't like Daylight Savings Time. It's kicking my butt. I'm tired. And when I'm tired, I get kind of loopy. Oh well. So, let's see what I can babble about today.
- I had to go to a Bridal Shower yesterday. The whole time, I wished I was home knitting. At one point, I was sure I was imagining things when I heard the ladies behind me talking about yarn. As it turns out, they really were. One girl wants to learn to crochet afghans. Unfortunately, they both hate knitting and only like crochet. (Madness, I tell you!!!)
- I wished I had brought my yarn and needles with me to the shower, but I suppose that would have been rude. I guess it would be equally rude to knit during the wedding ceremony next month? Drat.
- I finished my Clapotis last night!! Hurray! I just need to block it, and then I'll have the FO post ready!
- It actually does almost feel like Spring today!! And Kathy is holding a "Tell me about a sign of Spring" contest here. Go on over and check it out, you can enter until March 20th. Oh, and the prize . . . .SOCKS THAT ROCK!!!!!
Okay, that's enough boring drivel for today. I've got a date with my wool wash and blocking pins!!

Yeah for Clapotis blocking!!
I suppose if you sit in the very back corner, you could knit during the wedding. Although, if I did it, my husband would probably shoot death glares at me the entire time.
Thanks for the contest link. I'm a sucker for Socks That Rock!
two questions:
#1) is the bride a knitter?
#2) did you offer knitting lessons?
i'm sure if the answer to number one is yes, you can knit at the wedding. and seriously, anybody who can crochet an afghan can knit a sweater. how can anyone not like knitting!?!? that is madness.
I can't wait to see your clapotis! I have decided to knit one after seeing Kristie's finished one, it is gorgeous, as I have no doubt yours will be:)
Waking up was SO hard this morning. It was so dark! But ultimately I know I like DST, so I'm trying to think savor the late lightness :)
Oooohh, can't wait to see Clapotis! I don't like DST either, but I did realize something good about it this morning. The dogs don't know about it! They slept until 7:30!
Excuse me, they only like crochet? Blasphemy.
Yes, Daylight Savings Time is kicking my a$* as well. I feel silly, but it's true.
I was very close to knitting in church yesterday!!
I hope your getting adjusted to the time change now - the spring change is so much nicer than the fall one. :)
Oh I hear you!! I can't go to sleep now, and need to get up in a few hours!! Can't wait to see Clapotis!
Hehehe, oh DST. Here in Egypt, it was decided that we would "fall back" a MONTH EARLY so that fasting for Ramadan would be easier. Oy.
How are you feeling, btw? Your Run-a-go-go tracker looks great! I think I might have a personal Run-a-go-go over the summer; if you liked the challenge, want to join me?
Congrats on the finished Clapotis!! I'm with you on the time change. Totally kicked my butt!!
Loving crochet and hating knitting....crazy people I tell ya!
The time change is getting to me too. It's been hard getting my yougest to bed when it's so light outside! Can't wait to see your finished Clapotis!
How can someone not like knitting! You even use less yarn than crochet when you knit!
Can't wait to see your finished clapper. The time change is kicking my butt too. And not liking knitting...well... that's just silly. I do both and like both equally well. They just work better for different things.

I can't wiat to see the clapotis, I am thinking of casting one on.
I have had such a terrible time adjusting to the time change, too. I take my knitting everywhere--even if I don't knit, I love having it nearby just in case! So take your knitting to the wedding in the car, because you just never know!!!!! xo
