For most of 2007 and part of 2008, I used to set monthly knitting goals and post them in Knit Lists. I'm not exactly sure why I got away from that. Maybe I felt that knitting should be relaxed and fun, and the knitting lists were getting in the way of that? Maybe I was too embarrassed when each month came to a close and I couldn't cross any of the projects off my list? Maybe I just plain forgot about them?
In any case, I think I'm ready to start my monthly lists up again. After all, I'm a huge List Person. I'm constantly making lists of anything and everything. So, here's what I'd like to accomplish in June:
- Monkey Socks
I've finished 4 of the 6 pattern repeats for the first leg. I'd love to finish the pair by the end of the month. But I'd be happy to get through the heel turn of the second sock by July 1st. - Kristina Bag
I'm just finishing up the last pattern repeat. Then, I need to do the top and the handle and felt it. And then install the zipper. It's not as much as it sounds, and I should easily be able to finish this in June. - Sitcom Chic
This has been in my queue forever. I've got some old Cotton-Ease in Popsicle Blue that would be great for this. I think I'll swatch for it today and hopefully cast on tomorrow. I'd love to have it done for vacation at the end of the month, but that's kind of doubtful.

Nice sock and bag projects. Love the yarns.
Thank you for pointing out the Sitcom Chic cardigan. I love the style. I also love your popsicle blue yarn selection. Perfect together.
I'm currently working on two Hey Teach cardis. Yes, two. It's addictive.
I made a Sitcom Chic and loved it. Love the color you picked!
Well, they seem like worthy, achievable goals. I hope you have a great deal of fun making it all happen!
The Monkey sock looks great. I love the color you chose.
I might have to give that Sitcom Chic sweater a try. Very cute!
On my needles --- a simple pair of stockinette socks in Austermann Step (grey/beige) and on the hoop --- a little Christmas ornament (Mistletoe).
I'm taking it easy until my stitching mojo gets back to normal.
Oh, the pressure! I have too many have-to's to do that to knitting, but if it keeps you 'on task' without adding pressure, go for it! Love the blue for Sitcom Chic. I think you should focus on that for vacation, you'll wear it all summer! Hmmm, maybe instead of ordering you to do it, I'll cast on for it myself! I'm struggling to finish a boooooring 2x2 rib sock and have vowed not to work on anything else until it's done...but......
Looks like you're going to be a busy girl with all that going on!
I'd love to get my Buttony sweater finished this month, but I can't see that happening, so i'll just be pleased if I get enough stock finished to put up in my new little store :)
pretty much nothing. :) I've totally fallen off the knitting wagon.
But it's freaking hot and work is a bitch with a capitol B, so I really am just interested in diving into alcohol when I get home. But, alas, too many WW points. :)
the monkey socks colors are really to my liking. Just gorgeous. Love the bag as it is coming along too!
My list:
prayer shawls and wraps.....
Hehe..I need to finish my Monkey's too. I love your colorway! Kristina bag is looking good, love the color for your Sitcom Chic too.
As for me, finishing my February Lady Sweater and Tomato if possible. We'll see :)
I would like to get back to that too! After finishing up the 2 afghans that I have committed to, I am going to make a June list too! I have Citcom Chic almost done and need to finish it up too. I am not even sure where it is. I need to dig that out and get it done too! That will be on my list for June too :) Thanks for reminding me. I can't wait to see yours! Mine is white.
Wish you lick with this month's projects - that is an impressive list! Can't wait to see the finished products.
I've tagged you for a fun little game - check my blog for details.
Wow...cannot wait to see that Sitcom Chick in that blue you chose! It will be very sweet.
;-)
Yay!
Looks like the monkeys are coming along too.
Oooo-Oooo-Oooo

Whoops! Forgot to mention what my plan is for June!!!
I want to start and finish another tank top type top...hahaha. I hope that I can find a pattern I like in time to DO this.
Other wise...I will end up casting on everything, anything...hahha.
Your projects look great! I like the list idea. I thinking I might do it too.
I am a list person too, so I feel your pain. :)
I'm trying to knit one sweater in a KAL, and finish another from last summer. I just need to make time to sit down and do it!
We need a K.C. update, please.
