Yarn P*rn

I tried to come up with something knitterly to share. But I can't quite show you what I've been working on yet. And since I have to test my blood sugars a ton more often than usual while we tweak my pumps settings, my fingers have been sore and the knitting I have been doing is slow.

So, I decided to take a cue from one of my favorite bloggers and share some Friday Yarn P*rn.

Mmm, Koigu! This is some pretty old stash, because I got it for my birthday, almost two years ago. Pea did a great job picking it out, didn't he?
If I cast this on soon, do you think I can convince him that I need more sock yarn for my birthday next month?? No, I don't think he'd fall for it!

Oh Pea is so nice. You dont' even have to knit it up to ask for more. We are so proud of you and your pump change. IM so sorry your fingers hurt. I dont even like a hematocrit check prick when I donate blood. I wonder what would help you my dear friend. Fingers are sooo sensitive. Well, lets see

Maybe warmth to the area will speed healing. Do you have a heating pad that you could wrap around your tips?

Boy, you scored on finding a man with great fiber taste! A birthday? How wonderful. Sorry to hear about your sore fingers. Once the pump settles down you will feel so much better.

Pretty eye candy. You could use that for one of the Ocean Scarves patterns if you don't have a sock in mind.

I hope your poor fingers feel better soon.

Very pretty, and P did a great job. :-) How nice is that??? Sorry to hear about your very sore fingers. I hope that they feel better soon...so that you can knit up that yarn and will have an excuse (it's your birthday) and a need (darn, used it)for more.

Very pretty yarn! With his taste I'd never pick out my own yarn again.

He really is an excellent yarn selector! That's a perfect colorway to knit up for spring. He just needs to understand that yarn is to be a stock birthday gift. Other gifts are wonderful, in addition to the yarn of course. ;o)
