38 . . .

is not so bad. Look what I woke up to this morning!!!!

Mouse over the picture to see what's inside!!!

A wonderful card that made me cry. (I'm a sap - I always cry at his cards!) Scarf Style. A print-out telling me some new clip-art is coming from Amazon. Two gorgeous hanks of Atacama Alpaca yarn from Chili. It's so beautiful . . . I have to find something really special to make with this. And four, yes FOUR, hanks of Koigu. Ladies, my little Pea went to Knitting Central all by himself to choose these six wonderful hanks of yarn. The picture doesn't do them justice (it's dark and cloudy here today). Two of the Koigus are lovely light shades of orange, yellow, purple and pink. To be honest, I probably wouldn't have looked at this colorway myself, but I really love it. Pea said he chose it because it looked seem to scream spring. And the other two are in a colorway I've been wanting, but had never mentioned to him (he knows me so well). They look gray in the picture, but they are actually beautiful purple and green shades - they remind me of African Violets. We're also going out to dinner tonight, and to Mohegan Sun casino (again) tomorrow!! Oh he spoils me so!!

I think for the rest of the day, I'm not going to do much of anything. My friend Barb and her 2 year old daughter Madison are taking me out to lunch. I don't plan on cleaning a single thing today!! In fact, I'm going to spend the afternoon knitting on the couch! I might even have a FO for my next post!!! What could be better than that??

Happy birthday!! (I am so going to use that mouseover trick sometime soon--nicely done, too to have unopened gifts and then opened gifts!) Pea has really outdone himself. Whatever will he do for other gift-giving occasions!? :)

Happy Birthday to you, my friend! And gosh, what a man you have - wanna share him with us? :) He seems to be such a cutie, going out there into a yarn store all on his own and coming back with such amazing goodies! Wow! Do have a wonderful celebration, and I hope all your dreams come true in this new year of yours!

Happy birthday! What a lovely gift! I have hinted to my hubby that he can always buy me yarn as a gift but so far he hasn't done it. Lucky you to have a guy who'll brave a yarn store alone!

Wow, might I say, Pea has good taste! Those yarns are beautiful, and I think I've seen that Koigu in person, and justabout chose it for a shawl...until the owner came out with some Cherry TreetHill that made me melt...but that's so off track now....anyway, I hope you have a fun rest of your day! Your banner is AMAZING! I'd love to hire you to help me out w my page...familiar with Livejournal? :)
