In the interest of New Year, Fresh Start, blah blah blah, I vowed that I would get back to knitting one pair of socks each month. I even paired stash yarn with patterns, printed the patterns, dug out the yarn, and bagged them all up for a Personal Sock Club like many other knitters are doing. I had a pair on the needles that I planned to finish up in January, and then I could start picking a random bag each month and knit a pair of sock.
So, with just over 10 hours left in January, how do you think my plan is going? Any guesses?
Yup, big fail!!
New plan? Finish the January socks during the first few days of February. Then knit really really fast on the February pair. I could work, right?

Totally could work. :)
I work better facing a deadline...sometimes.....
Hey, you've got plenty of time during the rest of the year to make up for it!
Ha hah ahaaa. You make me laugh Karen. I LOVE The sock yarn and the way they are turning out. So what if you missed the goal by a tad....you are doing a great job
Excellent plan! It's totally going to work. I love those socks!
Just keep on working away. Get to the February socks when you're done the January ones, just like you planned. Some socks just go faster than others.
(Then again, I'm notorious for casting on multiple pairs of socks, so hey...) ;)
How about a simple pair of worsted weight anklets for Feb so you can get all caught up? I love my worsted weight anklets.
Of course it can work! I second the idea of worsted weight anklets. They're great for apres snow shoveling when my feet are frozen.
Sure it can work, especially if February pair is simple. That would certainly take less time than cables.
I'm sure it can work. My plan is similar. I agree. Finish up the January socks and start February's - maybe something simple. Some months we are busier than others, some socks call to us more, etc.
My goal is to reduce stash so I feel like I can buy pretty sock yarn again (guilt-free) if I find it on the shelves.
Good luck to you!!
Lovely socks though.
